Description: Join Twine at Mess Hall for a potluck from 5:30-7:30 with family farm defenders as we celebrate International Peasants Day in solidarity with Via Campesina. Discussions about how the Chicago Mercantile Exchange effects farmers directly, and why we chose to gather there for Peasants Day. Hear from Family Farm Defenders about the concerns of dairy farmers, learn about food sovereignty, learn about whats coming up at the USSF. All who are able: Please bring a local dish to share.
