Products & Services
We partner with congregations and community groups to create frequent opportunities for members to socialize together. Over time, people will get a sense of who they look forward to seeing again. We don’t recommend rushing into it but when people feel ready to consider home sharing, we will support them to make good decisions.
Our role is cultivating relationships with congregations and community groups and providing the infrastructure for the gatherings, i.e., publicity, location, refreshments, signup sheets, and maintaining the database.
Our work supports our partner congregations and communities with a process that enables them to meet their members’ housing needs.
They know what those needs are likely to be and also know of resources that they can tap.
A key element of the infrastructure is our robust database of useful information gleaned from the Self-Maintained Profile for Home Sharing that enables people to find housing that suits their life stage, lifestyle and budget.
Database access $50 for 15 months.
This includes a three-month money back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with the service, please e-mail email@example.com within 90 days of your purchase to receive a full refund.
Membership With Home Sharing Compatibility Assessments and Support
Those who are interested in increasing the likelihood of a good match can sign up for extended services, including compatibility assessments and monthly communication tune ups based on the Quaker Listening Circle model.
We will utilize Annamarie Pluhar’s Sharing Housing – a Guidebook to finding and keeping good housemates book and workbook to help people identify what matches will probably be compatible.
Prices are subject to change with 30-days’ notice.
New Community Vision offers database access for $50 per year, plus a 3-month money back refund. Effectively, 15 months of database access.
If, within 90 days of purchasing access to the database, you are dissatisfied with the service, we will refund your purchase with no questions asked. Please call 312-375-1423 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate the refund.

General Site Statistics
New Community Vision’s website, newcommunityvision.coop is designed using WordPress (see WordPress.org). This software collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We view these data to learn how many people are visiting the site, how they found the site, and what pages of the sites are most popular. We may share some of this information in aggregate form only.
WordPress.org Collects IP Addresses in Some Cases
In general, WordPress.org does not make internet users’ personally identifying information available to administrators of websites that use its software. For example, WordPress stats do not track IP addresses of visitors who are not logged in. However, WordPress.org does collect potentially personally-identifying information like IP addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on WordPress.org sites (including NewCommunityVision.coop). New Community Vision only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to our administrators.
